The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining all West Tech properties in the region. The primary place of work will be St. Lucia, but at times there may be a need to travel to the other islands that we operate in or oversee work in those islands remotely. Ideally looking for a tradesman who can also do the work and be able to hire and supervise others depending on the size or complexity of the job at hand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage maintenance workers: Hire, train, and supervise maintenance workers, contractors, and laborers
- Schedule maintenance: Set shift schedules and assign work
- Develop policies: Create maintenance policies and procedures
- Identify supplies: Identify tools, equipment, and supplies needed
- Perform maintenance: Perform maintenance work as needed
- Inspect properties: Lead safety inspections and evaluate properties
- Manage projects: Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet standards
- Report issues: Escalate issues to management and recommend solutions
- Maintain records: Maintain records and reports, and provide monthly maintenance reports
- Budget: Assist with maintenance budgeting and forecasting
